It is not exactly groundbreaking news that there was an explosion of bright colors on the spring runway shows. However, isn't it such a breath of fresh air? A little bit of color is a something a woman can look forward to as she transitions into her spring wardrobe. How positive and exciting it is! DKNY continues to deliver wearable and semi-affordable clothes that a young professional woman can wear to work and a night out with the girls. The beautiful color-blocking combinations is something to take notice in this collection. I loved the printed scarves and blouses paired with the structured blazers and narrow pants. It is a look that I have loved and will continue to love for the next couple seasons.
I am a pure jacket girl...Working at Ralph Lauren for the past 8 months has really allowed me to appreciate the beauty of a fine tailored jacket. One of the jackets I am pining for this spring is a crisp navy jacket...with a colorful scarf for an added girly effect...all thanks to the great DKNY spring collection!

This is the first look to walk the runway. This look is a true indicator of how much accessories pulls together an outfit. Without the beautiful red healss and prnted scarf, this outfit would look so dull. I love everything about this outfit minus the bow tie around the waist.

I hope every girl thinks to incorporate a narrow trouser and a navy blazer into their work attire for spring. The red clutch and heels adds femininity and glamour to the outfit as well.

We saw the romper comeback about 2 years ago. At first, I was a little reluctant and still am for that matter... However if I were to purchase a romper, this would be my way of doing it. This outfit shows off a woman's great legs and the subtle ruffle neckline adds a girly twist.

Do not think that a mini skirt is the only sexy skirt out there. Lets think opposite, shall we? I am loving the figuring flattering shape of this skirt. The length is out of the ordinary, yet so chic and amazing. What a great item to invest in for spring.

Basic dress with a subtle plunging neckline to keep it young...Navy is such a great color for spring. The sheer arm sleeves are a great feature for a breathable spring dress.

Hands down my favorite look on the runway. A beautifully executed scarf blouse with a tailored blazer and mini skirt...tres chic!

Simple and easy bright red dress to wear to lift the spirit.
I love how the net-a-porter stylists put together the outfits on the website. A well put together outfit is more sellable that a 2 dimensional piece of clothing. The looks are very eclectic...mixing a variety of designer pieces together.

I think the peplum top is a ultra feminine way of dressing for spring. The shape also creates a flattering shape with the skinny jeans and the YSL platforms <--LURVE it:)

A very cute combination...a mens-inspired shirt paired with a cutesy ruffled skirt is so modern and very "of the moment." The only thing missing is a big brown belt.

This architecturally cut jacket is so edgy yet still maintains the classy factor. I also really love the play on different textures for this look, making the jacket stand out.

A well put together layered look is always a favorite of mine...especially for casual wear.

A simple dress with a few subtle accessories is a great idea for a nice dinner out. A look like this really brings attention to the face due the dark colors and simplicity of the whole outfit.

Simple black and white outfit with a little bit of sparkle is super classy and fun for a night out with the girls. The high waist cinching skirt is ultra girly and chic...And, HELLLO LEGS!

This outfit is similar to the structured jacket above, yet offering a slightly opposite effect. The dress is the stand out piece in this outfit with the jacket added for a refined touch.

Navy and white striped shirts are a great basic piece for your spring wardrobe...It can be worn both on its own, with a cardigan (as pictured), or with a boyfriend blazer.
