This Spring Jason Wu came up with one his most wearable collections to date. The designer will certainly be able to reap the benefits, for there is enough pieces to inspire his customer to come back multiple times. What differentiates a good collection to a GREAT collection, is the amount of dynamic pieces. This is something Jason nailed here. Colorful blouses were paired with pants AND skirts. Blazers were used with high-wasted trousers and shorts. The audience was also able to observe his first ever launch of amazing accessories and optical wear.
I thought this collection was the amazing and so wearable for the years to come. He toned down the exuberant party frocks we are so used to seeing in order to utilize a smart amount of tailored pieces and separates. The key is in the basics. If a customer falls in love with a crisp high-waisted pant (that she will forever wear), she is more likely to trust the risque fashion pieces. The dresses were so brilliantly free-flowing in beautiful prints and were ultimately works of art. He never ceases to include his own signature feminine details through the pretty bows, ruffles, and floral pins.

Simple and easy dressing. Nothing is better than a couple pairs of trousers fit perfect to the body. This high-waisted pant is great for curvier figures. The blouse adds a nice feminine touch.

This is a fab version of the shorts suit. I love the use of navy shorts with a cream jacket. All pulled together with a bow and a belt.

One of the more casual looks in the collection. What a great way to look chic on a rainy day.

This is hands down my favorite look in the collection. Pairing a summer striped knit with a glen plaid blazer is such a chic look.

I love the use of vibrant blues in this outfit. The ruffles are more subtle which I like and the overall feel is so feminine.

I can't ever dis-count an amazing Jason Wu dress to wear for a summer event. This dress with the plunging neckline is so classy yet sexy.

Another favorite outfit of mine. I love the combination of the glen plaid blazer with the polka dot blouse.

The beauty of this look is in its structure and ultra clean lines - looks amazing the woman body.

The highs and lows of this look is a key element here - simple knit paired with a fluffy and beautiful cocktail skirt is so unexpected yet tends to work every time.
